Here is what information Well Drilling Directory collects when you use the site and what happens to it.

Information collected through the quote request form

If you use the "Request a Quote" form on the Connect page, we collect the information you type into it: your name, phone number, email address, and, if you choose to add it, a message describing your project. That submission is sent directly to a Google Sheet through a Google Apps Script form handler that this site uses to receive quote requests. We do not maintain a separate database of form submissions outside that sheet.

How that information is used

We use the details you submit to respond to your quote request and to pass your contact information and project details along to a well drilling contractor who serves your area, so they can follow up with you directly. If you choose that option on the quote form, we also share your details with up to 3 additional matching well drilling companies. We do not use your name, phone number, or email address for any other purpose, and we do not sell it to third parties.

Analytics

We use Plausible Analytics to understand overall traffic, such as which pages are visited and how many people click through to the quote form. Plausible describes its own analytics script as cookieless and designed not to collect or store personal data about individual visitors. We have not configured any additional tracking, advertising pixels, or visitor profiling beyond that analytics script.

Cookies

We do not set our own tracking cookies on this site. Any cookies present come from third-party services embedded on the page, such as the Google font loader used for the site's typography, which is a standard part of loading those fonts and is not used by us to track you.

Sharing your information

The only sharing that happens is the purpose of the quote form itself: passing your submitted contact details and project message to a relevant well drilling contractor (and, unless you switch off the pre-selected match-me option before sending, up to 3 additional matching contractors) so they can respond to your request. We do not sell your information to data brokers, advertisers, or any other third party.

Your choices

You can choose not to submit the quote form if you do not want to share your contact details. If you have already submitted the form and want your information removed from the connected Google Sheet, contact us using the email below and we will remove it.
